Student Congress decides on homecoming theme
On Aug. 19 over 95 percent of Student Congress members voted for this year’s homecoming theme at their first official meeting of the school year. The theme “Night in the Garden” surpassed “Circus” and “Greek and Roman.” Student Relations senior chairman Corinne Kowald credited the landslide vote to the uniqueness of the theme.
“The decorations are simple but classy,” Kowald said. “It’s something that is kind of different than any of our other themes have been in the last few years. People just really seem to like it.”
The homecoming game against Plano East is scheduled for Oct. 25 and the dance will be the night after on Oct. 26.
