Varsity basketball teams advance to playoffs
The varsity boys and girls basketball teams will advance to the district playoffs this February. The Lady Wildcats finished the season with a district record of 8-2 and an overall record of 24-7. Their first playoff game will be on Mon., Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. against Lake Highlands at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson. The boys basketball team, currently maintaining a district record of 4-5 and an overall record of 15-10, plays their final regular season game against McKinney Boyd at home on Tues., Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. for senior night. Having already clinched a spot in the district playoffs, the Wildcats’ first playoff game will be announced in the coming weeks.
