Cody Estes:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “Because I show school spirit and embrace many of the traditions here at Plano.”

Q: Are you more excited for the homecoming game or the dance itself?

A: “I am more excited for the homecoming game obviously because I will be playing. But, mainly because I love hearing the band and seeing the school and the community come together to help the Wildcats win.”

Jerry Gonzales:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “Because of my huge amount of Plano spirit and because I want to get to know everyone who supports me along my journey, even if I do not know them already. They should vote for someone who isn’t afraid to show the world where I’m from but most importantly where we are all from.”

Q: What is your favorite part about playing during the games in Band?

A: “My favorite part about playing during the football games is being able to see and hear everyone’s chants, screams, and awes during the game. It brings me so much joy to be able to enjoy a super fun day with my section members, the band, and everyone who participates in the football game day. It also gives us all a chance to leave all our worries behind and just have a good time on Friday nights. These are some of my most treasured memories.”

Kenny Bernstine:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “I think people should vote for me because we want a king who can get along with everyone. I love coming to school just to see everyone I normally don’t get to hang out with outside of school. Being friends with people from all different groups is so fun and important. Also, my dad won homecoming king his senior year and I would love to carry it onto my own senior year.”

Q: What is your favorite part about Homecoming?

A: “My favorite part is easily the outfits. I love seeing everyone dressed up for the occasion, especially because we only get a few special moments like that here at Plano. My other favorite parts have always been going to the parade and homecoming football games with my family. I have been going to events for homecoming since I was a little elementary schooler.”

Nathan Potyraj:

Q: Why should people vote for you

A: “I believe that I would be a good candidate for homecoming king because I have represented school spirit and Plano pride. I have also been a proud member of the Plano community since birth, growing up in a Plano Senior family. I always repped the maroon and white and want to [start] my last year with a bang.”

Q: What is your favorite memory from last year’s homecoming?

A: “Being able to see such a large group of people in one place and being able to [move] away from COVID into normal life. Having the opportunity to spend that night with my friends and girlfriend in a non-quarantine lifestyle was great.”

Naham Ding:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “People should vote for me because I am kind, witty, outgoing, and easy to socialize with. I am approachable and I represent that the spirit of Plano means diversity and pride. I am multifaceted in representing Plano Senior, [such as] people of all races and beliefs. I am the Men’s Varsity Swim Captain, a STUCO member, the Community Chair in the Interact Club, and a part of the Teacher Training class at Plano.”

Q: What about homecoming are you most excited about?

A: “I am most excited to cheer on the football team, band, and color guard from the student section. I’m also excited to ride on the homecoming float with my partner and walk out on the pep rally and with my mom at the homecoming football game. [Additionally, I am excited to]  have a great night dancing and socializing with friends and the rest of the student body. Hope to see you all at homecoming.”

Daria Alinejad:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “People should vote for me because why not? [However,] if someone doesn’t want to go for me I won’t hold it [against] them. I think all the nominees are very deserving of votes so I think either way whoever someone chooses to vote for will be a good choice”

Q: What is something special that you bring to Plano Senior?

A: “I would like to think I [bring] welcoming energy. I at least try to bring in a friendly and familiar vibe to people at Plano the best that I can.”

Isabella Bryan:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “Because I’m super involved in school. I am an officer in STUCO and work to make the students’ lives better. It is also a good opportunity to represent the school better. I know it’s just the title of the role but I’m friendly [and] approachable.”

Q: What makes you most excited about running for homecoming queen

A: “Getting to put myself out there and taking more risks. As I am getting older, getting out of my comfort zone, putting myself [out] there and doing something I wouldn’t have done is something that has been really important to me.”

Janelia Agbor-Agbor:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: ¨I think they should vote for me because I am a people person, I enjoy being a social butterfly and my brother Dennis Drey won last year.”

Q: What was your reaction to being nominated?

A: “My reaction to being nominated was a genuine joy. I was so worried that I wasn’t nominated and relieved when I got the email.”

Victoria Carol:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “People should vote for me because I truly care about Plano and everyone here. I show school pride in everything I do from academics to clubs to sports, so winning homecoming queen here would be a great achievement.”

Q: “How do you feel about getting nominated?

A: “I felt so grateful about being nominated. You don’t realize how big of an opportunity it is until you are actually given it. After getting nominated, I realized that this makes my senior year and my last year as a Plano student even more special because I created an impact for myself.”

Ella Adam:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “Plano should vote for me because I have so much school spirit. Naturally, as part of the Plano Band, I’ve been to every pep rally, game, etc. [Therefore], I’m so invested in Plano’s campus culture, and being able to participate in such a big event like HOCO court is really just a cherry on top of being a Plano fangirl. People should vote Ella because I’m so excited to have fun senior year with the rest of my student body and as homecoming queen, I want to make that happen.”

Q: What has been your favorite memory at Plano so far?

A: “My favorite Plano memory by far is winning the game against Plano East last year. Everyone was so hyped leading up to the game with the pep rally and campus traditions. The vibes all around were really positive and I hope we’ll win again at this year’s homecoming game. You’ll be sure to catch me in the stands playing pep tunes and on the field for [homecoming] court.”

Princes:

Trent Gregorash

Blake Gonzales:

Q: Why should people vote for you

A: “I care a lot about the school and student body and am very involved. As some know, I ran for [Junior Class President]. I learned a lot about our student body and what is needed to help us as a whole. Although I am still in the early stages of my presidency, I hope to further my involvement and continue to get more and more student feedback to see what the school really wants.”

Q: What is your favorite part about representing the school as JCP so far?

A: “My favorite part of JCP so far is hearing from the students. Since we are only a couple of weeks out from the election, I’ve been really trying to interact with the junior class to see what they want me to tackle. With this, I have already started forming two major ideas with more to come to help us all. I can’t wait to hear more and see what all happens.”

Dmitri Goublin:

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: “Because I’m passionate about this role and I want to give people entertainment because it brings me joy seeing other people happy.”
