Timeline

If you’ve walked around campus, you probably have noticed the construction fencing, rubble and the higher rate of traffic during lunch hour. Plano Senior High School is going through a multi-year renovation that will update our campus for its growing needs. The first phases of construction have started for the 2025-26 school year and will continue through 2028.

Upgraded Facilities 

The athletics department is receiving several upgrades to its facilities. The baseball field has been renovated and updated, while the softball field has been completely rebuilt and relocated closer to Independence Parkway. The relocation of the softball field has opened up additional space on campus, such as the North parking lot near both fields. 

The band department has seen changes as well, with its practice pad relocated to West Park Boulevard and Wildcat Way.

Construction is also ongoing for the new athletic complex. Work on the west and north sides of Building E will expand the athletic program on campus. 

There are also expected new construction to classroom buildings and the student spaces.
