Mr. Wildcat Nation: Jason Head
January 25, 2015
Q: What organization were you nominated by?
A: This is actually kind of funny. I didn’t really know I was being nominated. I was actually nominated by Wildcat Nation or our Wildcat Nation sponsors, which is a new organization that we started this year to try to get more people involved and boost school spirit.
Q: What kind of qualifications or talents do you have? Do you know what you’ll be doing?
A: I have plans for my talent, I don’t know if I’m going to disclose just quite yet what I’ll be doing. I’m an actor, I do theater, I’ve done musicals before, so it kind of involves singing and dancing. There might be a little bit of that, but it should be pretty funny. We’ll see.
Q: Do you have a favorite sport that you like to watch? Play?
A: I really like football, it’s a classic American sport. Kind of a weird sport would be skeet shooting, like shotgun shooting. I don’t compete on a team, but I do go out. I have my own shotgun and go out to the range and shoot.
Q: Who is your favorite superhero? Your real hero?
A: I’m a Batman guy. I know people say he’s not really a superhero because he doesn’t have powers, but I think he’s pretty cool. My grandfather. It’s kind of a generic answer, but he’s so awesome. He kind of represents things that I want to be. He’s incredibly intelligent. He worked for TI and he kinda wears the same plaid shirt every day with the little pen holder and all of his pens in it. He has kind of been my role model growing up.
Q: If you had to be stuck in a TV show for a week, which would you choose?
A: I don’t watch TV very much, but probably Survivor. I think Survivor would be cool. Dumped off in Bermuda or some place. Everyone’s always like, “Ah! The Bermuda Triangle, it’s so dangerous!” but I’d prove them wrong.
Q: If you could pick one person from history and have them truthfully answer any question, who would you pick and what would you ask them?
A: Probably Lyndon B. Johnson, because I’ve always wanted to know what really happened with JFK. I don’t know if he would know anything, but there are so many conspiracy theories, so I think it would be cool to ask JFK what really happened, to see if he knows anything.
