This year the exemption policies have changed. Instead of past years’ three excused absences, students are able to miss school up to four days. This applies to all seniors who get 85 and above in their regular and honors classes and seniors and juniors who get an 80 or above in their AP classes.
“The reason the exemption policy changed was because this semester is longer,” principal Sarah Watkins said. “It’s just a technicality.”
