Q: What does homecoming mean to you?
A: It means having fun with your friends and getting to do something special; it’s just not a normal day. Last year we went out to dinner and took professional pictures because one of the girls mom’s is a photographer. We went to the dance for a little while, and then we went to my house.
Q: What influenced you to run for homecoming court?
A: I wanted to run for homecoming queen, but I never thought I would actually make it. My boyfriend is on the football team, so he got everyone to vote for me because I didn’t think I could do it, and he got the football team to do it for me.
Q: What do you think makes you a better candidate for homecoming queen?
A: I don’t know. I’d be a lot of fun. I don’t know what a homecoming queen does. I like crowns, and I’m good at dancing. I was a gymnast for 14 years.
Q: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
A: I was home schooled all through middle school. Then I came back my freshman year because I was a gymnast and I trained eight hours a day.
Q: What is your favorite “Plano Pride” moment?
A: Cheering at the football games. I’m a varsity cheerleader and I love cheering at the football games every Friday night. It’s amazing. It’s awesome. I love it.
Q: What would you be in the afterlife?
A: I don’t know. An angel? A homecoming angel. Yeah, I like that.
