On Sept. 23 Both lunches will have food trucks, music performances, activities and more. 

     “Presley Lundy and Hope Borges have truly done an outstanding job navigating all of the communication and preparation that goes into planning such a cool student event,” STUCO President Jace Thomason said. “They have made a great team and have really put together an incredible line up of clubs, food trucks, games and more for Stay Day this year.” 

     The food trucks for  Stay Day consist of Sparkle Bakery, Raising Canes, Trailer Cakes, Halal- Mother Truckers, Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream, Ruthies, Dilla’s and Kona ice. 

     “It brings all the students together to eat and play games but it also allows us to reduce our carbon footprint for one day,” senior Kyndall Ramby said. “I am excited for Stay Day because it brings a sense of community to Plano.” 

     All students are encouraged to stay at school instead of driving off to get lunch. In addition to food trucks, clubs will be set up with tables all round the pond to invite new members, and show off what they do in their organizations. The following clubs will be represented: Guitar Club, Jazz Club, Music Corp., DECA, BPA, PTSA, Chain Robotics, FCA, NAHS, StuCo, Hope Squad, Voter Registration, LULAC and Fashion.

     “Stay Day brings students together, as well as all of our wonderful clubs and organizations,” junior Hope Borges said.“Planning Stay Day was so exciting; I can’t wait to see all the hard work my co-chair and I put in to translate the excitement and involvement of Plano students.”
