Famous actor Alec Baldwin was involved in a fatal accident on Oct. 21,on the movie set of his upcoming movie ‘Rust’ at 1:5 pm on the set of ‘Rust’, while talking with cast mates and the head cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, actor Alec Baldwin accidentally set off a prop gun which resulted in the injury of film maker Joel Souza and tragic death of Hutchins.

“We did not know the gun had live rounds. It was a prop gun,” assistant director Dave Halls said in the affidavit for the ongoing investigation.

With the incident still being somewhat recent, there is not much info on what the investigation has uncovered regarding how it occurred. Currently the armorer and prop master for the movie are being questioned on how a live round was introduced to the gun.

Most recently, pipe rigger and lamp operator Jason Miller on the movie set was bitten by a brown recluse spider and is now in the hospital with sepsis spreading from his hand throughout his arm. While working on set, he was bitten and did not notice any immediate effects. Days later, symptoms occurred and he was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery to save his arm.

“In a matter of days he experienced severe symptoms including necrosis of his arm and sepsis,” Miller’s family said to People Magazine. “He has been hospitalized and endured multiple surgeries each day as doctors do their best to stop the infection and try to save his arm from amputation.”

As incidents on the movie set continue, it is speculated that progress on filming will slow and eventually come to a halt.
