Homecoming Queen Nominee: Alyssa Yarrow

Q: Were you expecting to be nominated for homecoming court?

A: I wasn’t expecting it because there are so many girls in this school. I saw the crown, and I was shocked. Not a lot of people get to experience it. I think it’s really cool and flattering.

Q: How do you feel about Plano Senior High?

A: It’s a lot different than Vines, and since I’ve lived a lot of places, I’ve seen all these different types of high schools. In Plano the community is really awesome.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: I’m on Planoettes, so I’m basically dancing all the time, and I work. I’m in Student Congress, also.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

A: I’m nice because I don’t like judging people or having people feel left out. I feel like the more people I talk to and include, the better.

Q: What are your favorite classes?

A: I like math the best. Precal is one of my favorites so far. I’m just really good at math. I like interpersonal studies and psychology because it’s really interesting to study relationships between people.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I like to hang out with my friends most of the time. I like to go see movies. I go to the mall to window shop.

Q: What are your plans for college?

A: I plan on majoring in either business or education. I haven’t decided which one yet. I’m probably going to go to Sam Houston State University or Mizzou.
