Q: How do you plan on getting people to vote for you?
A: I have a lot of friends that aren’t in cliques but are in different groups and organizations and I have talked to them, because a lot of them are leaders, and I have asked them to have their club support me. So I’m not going to one place for school support, I’m trying to branch out for my votes.
Q: Did you expect to be nominated for homecoming queen?
A: I do know that a lot of my friends said that they were helping me get votes. They told me not to worry because I was probably going to get it. I was still on edge though, because I wouldn’t know until it was announced. I wanted so badly to be nominated.
Q: Who do you think deserves to win the crown?
A: I think that there is no one that deserves to win; I feel that who the people pick deserves to win. I mean if they think I deserve it, then I’ll win. I just don’t want to speak too soon.
Q: Do you have anything to say to the other nominees?
A: I’m really happy to get to represent my school with them and at the end of the day I’m not going to say anything bad about them. If someone else wins, I’ll be so happy for them, because that means they will be what a majority of what people wanted.
Q: What are you most excited for about homecoming?
A: I’m most excited to be announced at the football game and walk across with my grandpa, whose pretty much my dad, and I don’t get to see him a lot, so it’ll be nice.
