Q: What does homecoming mean to you?
A: It’s bringing all the school spirit into one week. The fact that we bring back all the alumni, all the homecoming kings and queens gets everyone excited about their school. It gives everyone a lot of spirit.
Q: Why do you want be homecoming queen?
A: Because I want to represent how much spirit we have at this school.
Q: Why should people vote for you?
A: I’m involved in a lot of different things in school and I try to interact with everyone. I’m in the band, I’m in drumline. I’m a section leader in drumline, I’m on the bowling team and I’m friends with all different groups of people. I feel I’m a good candidate.
Q: What is something surprising people don’t know about you?
A: I play piano and guitar, I sing and I’m in the drumline.
Q: What is your favorite “Plano Pride” moment?
A: For me it’s at halftime when I get to go out to the field and play with the band. For this show I get to dress up as a Star Wars character and do a light saber show. Hearing the crowd clapping and the fact that we’re making people enjoy our show, and that rather than just doing it for us we do it for the whole school and the whole audience, is my favorite.
