Lyric Salad
There are always those songs that we either make up our own lyrics for or mix up the lyrics
1. “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by Eiffel 65
Somewhere in the song for some odd reason, many change the lyrics to “I am blue, if I’m green I would die.”
2. “Bennie and The Jets” by Elton John
Let’s face it, we only know this song because of 27 Dresses…Walrus sounds.
3. “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen
Or as some like to say “another one rides the bus.”
4. “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen
Took me a while to figure out that “mama” wasn’t the one who killed a man…
5. “Circle of Life” by Elton John
Our version of this song’s introduction: Ah la henya alabeebadada
To Banish…
Yeah I get that it’s “your song” but, that doesn’t mean that everyone else has to like it; nevertheless listen to it over and over and over again.
1. “Friday” by Rebecca Black.
Hey, when you find something other than the day of the week to “sing” about, call me…Actually, don’t do that.
2. “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green
I want to forget you and your horrible song. There’s nothing more for me to say.
3. “What’s My Name” by Rihanna
Two things: You shouldn’t go around sharing the fact that you don’t know your own name, nevertheless, make a song about it.
4. “My Humps” by The Black Eyed Peas
Fergie, I love you but, hear me out when I say this. I think we’re all tired of hearing about your “lovely lady humps.”
5. “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga
No Gaga, I’m positive you weren’t born with meat hanging on your body or with the name Gaga.
Forever Classic
You know those songs that you aren’t embarrassed to sing at the top of your lungs? Yeah, here are five.
1. “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift
Even with the windows down and your car stereo blasting, there is no shame in singing along to this song.
2. “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey
It’s at every party, every dance and every reunion. And it will never get old.
3. “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz
Why yes Jason, we’re all yours.
4. “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele
I don’t know how she does it, but Adele has a knack for turning angry emotions into beautiful lyrics.
5. “What Is Love?” by Haddaway
Whenever someone asks what love is, I always answer with this song.
