As the year ends, I am honored to step into the role of Editor-in-Chief of the Wildcat Tales in the fall of 2026. I’m grateful to continue this publication and build upon the outlet that has long served as the voice of our school community and do my best to represent every student, teacher, and member of faculty on campus.
Looking ahead, the Wildcat Tales have an exciting future just around the corner. In room B208, our editorial team and newspaper teacher, Mr. Dumois, have spent time discussing new ideas and goals we hope to bring to the publication next year.
One of our biggest priorities is expanding our digital content. With this in mind, the Wildcat Tales plans to implement a new student interview series and quick weekly recaps which will be posted on the official Wildcat Tales Instagram page. We also hope to have potential collaborations with the many school clubs on campus.
The Wildcat Tales is also excited to announce the upcoming launch of our first-ever printed magazine. Along with continuing general reporting on current events, the magazine will feature interactive polls giving students a direct voice in our publication and deep dives on student events covering games, rallies, concerts, and other performances capturing the authentic day-to-day moments that make our high school experience.
On the behalf of Mr. Dumois and the rest of our Wildcat staff, thank you for continuing to support our publication, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
